I installed the Zadig drivers onto my computer using this tutorial in an attempt to get my GameCube controller to work on my computer. Linux support does not require any special drivers, as long as Dolphin was built with libusb support. Start by downloading and installing Zadig, which you can find here. Zadig is a utility that allows you to modify drivers for the USB devices that you’re using. In this case we’ll be replacing Windows’ default driver for our GameCube adapter with one that Dolphin can read properly.

Installing Gamecube Controller Driver With Zadig For Windows A common downside of emulation on PC is that actually using your controllers requires some extra footwork. This is especially problematic when PC gamepads like the Xbox One controller just don’t translate smoothly to playing something like GameCube games on Dolphin. First, try running Zadig in Administrator mode. Could just be a permissions issue. I'm not familiar with using Zadig to install GameCube controller drivers, but I have used it to install drivers for my Kinect camera. I'll sometimes need to completely get rid of my previous Kinect drivers before the new ones will work.

I followed these instructions: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=How_to_use_the_Official_GameCube_Controller_Adapter_for_Wii_U_in_Dolphin
to the T in order to install the correct drivers to make the Wii U Gamecube Controller Adapter compatible with the latest dev build of Dolphin. After about 5 minutes of attempting to install the new drivers, Zadig aborted the operation. I can't get it to try reinstalling it again, and the instructions in the same link above to delete the drivers, but it has yielded no results. I can't get Zadig to re-attempt the driver change, and (after the first time I uninstalled the driver) I can no longer get the device to pop up as 'WUP-028'.
Zadig keeps returning an error: Could not allocate resource. Can anyone help me rectify this and get this adapter working for Dolphin? I've been so excited to use the new compatibility and this is putting a serious downer on my night. :(
